Where are you?
We are located in a lovely, quiet country village called MARINI near the city of Cava dei Tirreni (15-20 minutes from Salerno, and Amalfi Coast transit).
Our Local transit passes every hour and arrives at the Cava train station, and from there you can make simple train connections to stations in Naples, Pompeii, Vietri sul Mare-Amalfi Coast, or Salerno (and also the ferry docks to get to the Amalfi Coast hot-spots).
There is also a hiking trail within walking distance where you can walk to the top of the mountain (the one you seen in our photo) and see an incredible view of the Amalfi Coast, Salerno, and many villages from one vantage point.
About the B&B
My home has a common terrace and partially right outside your room’s door, where you can have a seat in the sunshine, have drink and enjoy a mountain view of the area (and a small slice of the sea)…and enjoy peace and quiet.
FREE Wi-Fi, and a computer is accessible!
The kitchen is equipped with appliances and amenities you are free to use. Plus there is a living room where you are free to relax equipped with TV and DVD player along with a large selection of films in English and other languages.
The master bedroom is spacious with a balcony in front. An extra bed can be added for an additional guest.
What Else?
Breakfast is complimentary. Clean linens, shampoo, soap and towels are also included. A washing machine is available for a minimal charge per load.
And to make your arrival easier, I will meet you at the station at Cava dei Tirreni and accompany you to the apartment.
Guided walks or hikes around the area can also be arranged, an afternoon excursion on the coast on a 35 ft. sailboat, as well as lovely prepared dinners ‘at home’ or Italian cooking instruction for easy and practical dinners you can make at home. Just ask us for more info!
What’s Nearby?
Cava dei Tirreni is a beautiful undiscovered gem of a city city and a short distance back from the Coast in the hills, and virtually untouched by tourism. Here you can take in the ambiance, and enjoy a lovely afternoon watching the elegant locals and “La Dolce Vita” unfold while you sit back, enjoy a gelato, cappuccino or apperativ from one on the many outdoor café or restaurant patios. (It is only 10 minutes away from us by local transit).
When in Cava you can hop on the train and be in Vietri sul Mare in 5 minutes, Salerno in 10, and Pompeii in 20!
